I find myself, especially after studying for a while or getting ready to start studying, dreamin’. I dream of a day of not studying my tail off after a 9 or 12 hour workday. I have never not been studying. After high school I went into college and then into masters and then my CFE and now the CPA…I can’t remember a time when I have not been studying like crazy for something. But I dream of the day, everytime I pick up the study material…anyone else?

I recently asked my friends also studying for the CPA if dreaming and fantasizing of getting our licenses counted as hours for studying…. everyone laughed and agreed. I wish we could include those hours! I can relate with you, although CPA is my first attempt at something outside of undergrad, I went straight into it. Hang in there!

Yea, I've had a few dreams lately. One in particular was one where I checked my scores. One wasn't displayed because apparently I did something wrong at the test center so it wouldn't show up. The other score was under a 50. I was so depressed that I woke up with nearly tears in my eyes. That's just one of many. MAN!

@Rebornalphawolf I dont think they were talking about that kind of dreaming. lol But since we on the topic, I had a dream week before score release that I got a 77 on my BEC, I was all happy and then I woke up and was pissed it was only a dream. Then a week later I really got my score…74!!! Our brains just tease us at times lol

After I took my Audit exam I had a dream that I scored 100, on score release day I found out I scored a 76. Still passing!!

Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley

After 10 long years of studying, I AM DONE!!!! Finally a Licensed CPA in the State of New York!!

Gotta find that balance, I study my ass off as well, but you have to find time for yourself. Dreaming is good, but theres a whole world out there that needs some YOU in it!
