Well… I always explain to people that whichever exam you get is similar to drawing a bull for rodeo entry. You never know just what kind of test you are going to draw. It could be stuff you know…it could be totally off base. Today I took REG for the second time. I put tons of time in for review and over 1500 mcq plus simulations. I felt okay going in but pretty bad coming out. Mcq was medium-medium/hard-medium/easier. Stuff I was sure would be on the exam wasn’t even there. Sims were pretty confusing. I think I got 3 out of 6…maybe. It’s gonna break my heart to do it again and risk losing credit for FAR and BEC.

I got out, hung my head, bought a new pair shoes, some lipstick, took my bike out for a putt and finally vacuumed.

    Pretty disappointing.

I was sure I had failed reg – didn't put anything in two Sims. I ran out of time! Cried the whole way home. Still passed with flying colors. Hoping the same for you!

And new lipstick is ALWAYS a good fix!

    REG - Nov 4, 2013: 88
    FAR - Feb 27, 2014: 86
    AUD - April 5, 2014: 91
    BEC - May 6, 2014: 83

I felt the same way about FAR and ended up with an 87. Didn't feel great about the SIMS. I knew that I had messed up on a handful of MCQs cause I ran out to my truck after the exam and started looking up the answers. I went out for frozen custard to eat away my sorrows thinking I had definitely failed.

    FAR 12/3/14, 87
    AUD 2/3/14, 90
    BEC 4/1/14, 88
    REG 5/27/14, 94

I'm feeling the same as you. Took REG on Friday and felt totally depressed. There were so many questions where I was just “WTH?” Here's to hoping we both did enough to pass!

    FAR - 93 (YAY!!!!)
    REG - 93 (Double YAY!)
    BEC - 87 (Whew!)
    AUD - 96 (DONE!!!!!)

If I learned one thing from these tests it's this: Don't lose hope after a miserable test experience.

I'd be surprised if I received credit for 30% of my REG simulations – Not exaggerating. I'd really be surprised if I got 30% of those questions right. It was a nightmare. Granted, some answers are worth more than others, but still. I imagine less than 30% of my answers were correct. Considering simulations consist of 40% of the exam score and my experience with the MC was mixed, I didn't once entertain the idea that I might have passed that thing. But somehow, I did. Barely, but I passed. It wasn't just REG, either. That one was the worst feeling, but I don't think I left the test center feeling less than discouraged after any of them, and I ended up going 4 for 5. My point is that there's always hope until the moment you see the score. You just might surprise yourself!

Agreed, my last attempt at FAR was awful! I was sure that my score would be my worst yet (on attempt #3) and I was so dreading having to explain that one at work. I ended up with my best score ever, an 82. Keep your head up! You really just NEVER know.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

Don't count yourself out just yet. I felt better about my first attempt at REG than my second attempt. Go figure. I thought I bombed the SIMS on my second try. I was pretty upset and felt horrible afterwards, and then passed it. That's REG for you.

When I was writing my exam for REG, I thought i will defiantly going to fail.In nervousness i was out of time and left 2 Sims.

On the result day I got 77. Hopefully this would be your case too.

    Hi All.

Thanks much. It's just so hard to tell. The exams I actually passed…I felt I may have passed when I was done. This one…I just don't know. It could go either way. Should I do pass, I would feel more lucky than that “earned it” feeling.
