For those who have taken Reg, how often have you seen these pop up on the exam? I’m currently studying for Reg right now and this is the only topic that I’m struggling to grasp. I’m really hoping that I don’t see these show up when I take it

    BEC 76 (2/15)
    REG 81 (4/15)
    AUD 78 (5/15)
    FAR 81 (7/15)

I agree with this. I'm missing like all of the estate/trust questions on ninja MCQ. Any have any quick tip guidelines for the exam.

    FAR: 85(11/22/2014) - Becker(full)/Ninja MCQ (5 day cram)
    AUD: 79 (2/1/2015) -Becker/Ninja MCQ/Ninja Notes
    REG: 84(4/19/2015) -Becker/Ninja MCQ/Ninja Notes
    BEC: 83 (7/13/2015) -Becker/Ninja MCQ/Ninja Notes

A person may get into trouble for revealing any sort of information like that. Having said that, anything is game on the exam. If trust and estate are truly your only weakness, then I would think you still have a shot at passing the exam. My suggestion is to make sure you are reading the wrong answer explanations to the MCQ, and not just the correct answer explanations.

I don't understand the difference between $2,081,000 and $5,340,000. Little things like that trip me up, and I don't find logical explanations anywhere.

This is the explanation I found on this site somewhere.

One is a credit and the other is an exclusion/exemption. Credit means it is against a tax liability, and exclusion means it is against the taxable base.

So you can basically gift someone $5,340,000 in your lifetime without ANY gift tax, if there was a tax on $5,340,000 the tax would be $2,081,000 where the credit would simply wipe it out.

    AUD - 75
    BEC - 75
    FAR - 76
    REG - 76

    FAR - 76
    AUD - 75
    BEC - 75
    REG - 76

Now I need some experience!!! And some networking...
