Ethics exam

So, I thought my state did not have a requirement for the ethics exam. I. Just found out that they do, do I have to pass this within the 18 month window as we’ll or just pass it prior to license?

I am in Illinois and Ethics had to be completed before licensing but not necessarily within the 18 months required for passing all 4 exams.

Ethics normally you do after passing all your CPA exams. Ethic exam isn't part of the 18 month window.
