Ethics Exam Credit Expiration

    Once the Ethics exam is passed, does the credit for it expire like the 4 (BEC, FAR, REG, AUD) other tests?

    edit: I’m a Illinois candidate.

    I think that is governed by the state. In AZ it says when applying for certification, you have to have taken ethics within 2 years of applying for certification. So after two years after having taken the ethics course you'd have to retake when applying for certification.

    @ lvcpahopeful and law0915 – I am also an IL candidate. I will be taking the Ethics exam today, but, I had a question. When I go to the cpegrading website where we take the test – it is asking me to enter some “course code”? Where is this course code found? All I see is a Serial number that is listed on my answer sheet. Any idea guys?

    Also – if I take the exam online, do I still need to send anything to the AICPA? I received an envelope from them. I was not sure if I still need to mail out anything (even though I take the exam online)? Can you guys explain this?

    I believe it is 155901.

    I haven't purchased the exam yet, so I would get confirmation from someone else before using it.

    @ IVC – I am taking the “text course” though. So, I received the book from the AICPA. The code you gave me is an “On-Demand” code. You think this code will still work (even though I purchased the text course. The only issue is – I don't see a code for the “text course”. That's why I'm confused.

    Right – I was at the same website as you. There is no code for the “text” course.

    Nope – that course code doesn't work. It says “invalid course code”. Weird.
