So, I my Louisiana Driver’s License is in a different order than my name on the NTS. On the NTS, it is in the order First Middle Last Suffix. On the ID (which apparently is standard in LA) Last First Middle Suffix. My passport does match exactly, excepting a random space they put in my last name. I’ve called pro metric and gotten several different answers. The ladies at the local branch were to busy to talk to me. I just want to make sure my id is good when I get down there and that my preparation and payment are not for naught. Does anyone know if this is a something I should correct? There is no way to fix the DL I think. also, I am a VA candidate in LA because of work.

Is the prometric center close to your house? I know it would be inconvenient but the best way to get rid of the anxiety would be to go to the center and check. I was worried too when I got my first NTS. My NTS has my middle name on it and my DL does not. But its worked in four different prometric centers. I know its not the same situation, but my guess would be you're ok with your DL. I'm sure someone will post if they ever had a problem. If not, keep trying to get in contact with the center.

    Done: 5/22/14

Just to clarify, you're using an LA license at an LA testing center, right? If so, they should be familiar with it and it shouldn't be a problem. 🙂 NTSs are the same nationwide, so I'm sure all LA students have the NTS First Middle Last too.

Thanks, everyone! That's what I was thinking but the suffix being after the middle name, which is strange to me, worries me. I did talk to a nice lady at the DMV that said that's how LA does it.

My prometric center didn't even want the second form of ID…said they don't need it anymore. I don't know if I have the most laid back prometric center in the world but I love my place.

    MBA,CMA,CPA, CFF?, ABV?

@How many, my prometric is super laid back then as well! They just ask my name, then take my license and no second form of ID, my address is incorrect, and my NTS is all folded up.

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84
    BEC: 79
    FAR: 83

Sam- doesn't a great prometric center make a big difference on exam day? Looks like socal prometric does it right (I'm in Orange County)…

You should be good to go. Which testing center are you going to?

Thanks, everyone! I took the suggestion and drove out to the testing center (Metairie, essentially Nola.) The lady at the front looked at the NTS and the license and told me I would be good to go. I've been kicking the can on taking the exam for a couple of years, so I guess the anxiety of little details derailing me at this point is frightening .
