How would you rank the exams? I think they go Financial – Regulation – Audit – Business. Does anyone disagree? How long would you take to study for each of them if you were also working full time?

FAR >>>>>>> BEC > AUD so far. Judging by the material, REG's somewhere in that mass of symbols between FAR and BEC.

    FAR: May 1st, 2014 - 91
    AUD: May 29th, 2014 - 97!
    BEC: July 16th, 2014 - 91
    REG: August 29th, 2014 - 88

    REG, FAR, AUD, then BEC

EDIT: I found REG especially difficult compared to the rest due to my educational curriculum. I took so many classes on GAAP, Financial Accounting, and business related subjects that I've lost count. Whereas, I only took ONE class on Federal Income Taxation… throughout my entire college experience.

    from my experience:

    AUD>FAR>REG>BEC

i think Audit is very difficult for me because of the terminologies and how questions worded.

    FAR-Passed
    BEC-Passed
    REG-Passed
    AUD-Passed

REG>FAR>AUD so far. I'm assuming BEC will be after AUD based on my studying so far. I think it really comes down to people's experiences. AUD for me wasn't that difficult because I was fresh off of an AUD class when I took the exam. BEC is coming easy because of my MBA.

On another note, if I put the same amount of time and preparation into REG that I did FAR, I'd probably say FAR was the hardest. Still can't believe I passed REG. The last 2 days of my final review I had my study material on split screen with a movie playing the entire time. I was not focused at all. I was just so burnt out, but I've gotten new found motivation for BEC.

    FAR: 4/19/2014 - 85!
    AUD: 5/27/2014 - 90!
    REG: 7/18/2014 - 81!
    BEC: 8/13/2014 - 84!

    4 up, 4 down, in 4 months.

    REG – BEC – AUD

I may have somewhat underestimated BEC. I read/heard folks talking about it was the easiest section. The exam was extremely difficult. I had so many questions that were on unfamiliar topics, which makes your confidence sink while taking the exam.

    AUD: April 2014 - 85
    REG: May 2014 - 83
    BEC: July 2014 - 82
    FAR: August 2014 - 83

    I'M DONE!!

Not that far down the road yet… but so far it is FAR-AUD for sure. I have experience from auditing though.

Big 4 Audit Manager from Europe here to pass the CPA in the U.S. of A in 2014! Niiice!

    AUD - 95 / Jul 15 / 130h over 4 weeks
    FAR - 86 / Aug 14 / 240h over 4 weeks
    (11 week break)

    REG - 81 / Nov 14 / 200h over 4 weeks
    BEC - 87 / Nov 17 / 30 h over 2.5 days

    BEC >REG>FAR>AUD

I'm talking strictly from the testing respective. My BEC test was so brutal I was traumatized (encountered topics so remote and unheard of). REG beat out FAR in difficultly I think mainly because it was my first test and I was so shocked at it. FAR, five miles wide and an inch deep. AUD, boring (I quit studying and just went in and took the test…but I'm an auditor so that discounts my opinion of it).

None of the tests were so easy that I would say they were easy, this is a process I would never want to go through again.

    REG - Nov 4, 2013: 88
    FAR - Feb 27, 2014: 86
    AUD - April 5, 2014: 91
    BEC - May 6, 2014: 83

(Done in seven months - thank you Jesus!!)

The general consensus is FAR > REG > AUD > BEC based on scope and nature of the material.

    See what I did there.
