I plan on taking FAR in the beginning of October and scheduling a second exam in mid-late November. Any suggestions on what exam to take? I was thinking of taking BEC but I am wondering if I should take AUD as not all the AUD changes may be implemented in this testing window.

    Any suggestions?

Take one that you think you will excel with, if you are worried about the shorter study time. For me, AUD always “clicked”, and BEC was the one that I was most familiar with the content. So, I took BEC first to “get my feet wet”, and I have AUD scheduled with 4 weeks of study time. But, you don't have to look far on here to see that BEC and AUD are real struggles for some people! So I'd say pick the exam you're most comfortable with to do in a shorter length of time.

I think it makes sense to take AUD after FAR.

    FAR 90 Oct. 6, 2012
    AUD 96 Dec. 8, 2012
    REG 93 May 30, 2013
    BEC 84 Aug. 31, 2013

NIU CPA Review Correspondence and Wiley Test Bank

I would absolutely recommend to take AUD right after FAR since AUD is almost a logical continuation of FAR and very often SIMS on the AUD exam are basically FAR SIMS

    AUD - 90
    FAR - 83
    BEC - 81
    REG - 80
    ETHICS - 100

I would also suggest taking AUD after FAR because a bit of the material overlaps and AUD was the easiest exam, in my opinion. Good luck!

    AUD 11/24/12 (Becker Self-Study) 88
    BEC 1/19/13 (Becker Self-Study) 86
    REG 4/2/13 (Becker Self-Study) 69
    FAR 5/27/13 (Becker Self-Study) 84
REG Rematch 7/10/13 (Becker Self-Study, Wiley Test Bank, & hand-written flash cards) 82!!!!
