This is my first time posting here.

I am a Master student graduating soon. Recently I found a job posting on PwC website. After checking with the recruiter, I am told that this job is still open for recruiting. Then I asked someone I know in that office to pass my resume to the recruiter. Should I expect to hear anything from the recruiter even if she will not consider me?

BTW: Any one knows when does PwC NY office recruit for seasonals? Not the experienced but recruit students seasonals? I was referred to a seasonal job but because of my Visa issue (I am an international), the recruiter did not move me forward while she agreed to consider me should there be future opportunities. Now the problem is solved so I am wondering if there is still opportunities that I can possibly take.
