Experience Requirement Question

I just received the letter of experience from my previous employer with the payroll record break down of my time by item charged. (i.e. tax, review assistance, etc.) I left the company with about 2100 hours, but now I’m worried because a line item with a little over 500 hours says “non-chargeable hours.”

Does anyone know if this will count for experience? I worked at a CPA firm, so whatever I was doing during those hours was most probably accounting related.. there was a lot of answering phones and letting people know their paperwork was ready to be picked up, or they needed to sign 8879’s. My title was “Staff Accountant”. I’m extremely worried now because I just accepted a great position with a company in my area that does not employ another CPA.

    Thoughts, comments, insights?

There are only two options: Make progress or make excuses!
