Hi all

I am now back from my “time off” CPA studying, and will take on the challenge of REG and BEC mid November. I got one month, and about 220 study hours ahead of me.

Could anyone please share some experiences from studying for 2 exams, perhaps more specifically REG and BEC, simultaneously?

I have set up a very ambitious study plan for myself, detailing what study hours I have in evenings and weekends. I am dedicate to follow it and have the discipline, however only studies for one exam at the time in the past so not completely sure what I am getting myself into here.

Big 4 Audit Manager from Europe here to pass the CPA in the U.S. of A in 2014! Niiice!

AUD - 95 / Jul 15 / 130h over 4 weeks
FAR - 86 / Aug 14 / 240h over 4 weeks
(11 week break)

REG - 81 / Nov 14 / 200h over 4 weeks
BEC - 87 / Nov 17 / 30 h over 2.5 days

I just took my BEC exam today and will be taking REG next month, so although it's the same window, the studying is not for both exams simultaneously. I know that I would be ripping my hair out if I had to study for these 2 at the same time. All I can tell u is that don't underestimate BEC…the material is not really hard but you do need to dedicate a lot of time for it. And the exam is really random (many questions out of nowhere).

I bought the Ninja MCQ and there was a question that I was reviewing last night that came word for word on the exam. I didn't know how to do it but I memorized the answer (by chance) so I think I got it right. Other than that, my weak points were definitely tested a lot (I suck at WIP/FG/RM usage). Oh and definitely know ur COSO.
