Has anyone done their homework in F10 without watching the lecture? Tim is so freaking boring, just highlight and highlight and millions of “again”, so unbearable, I had to stop watching it. Is F10 important as well? Please advise. Thank you.

I am on review for FAR now and just did F10 last week. He is worse in this lecture than usual when it comes to the highlighting. What I've heard from friends is that F10 isn't heavily tested but it does cover a lot of random little topics that may show up as a question or 2. I think if you can get through the MCQ and understand them after reading the explanations you should be fine. However, I would highly recommend watching the IFRS vs GAAP section of the lecture. It's 44 mins long and covers all the major differences that were covered throughout FAR. I found this very helpful because it touches on many little differences that I had forgot. I honestly think its the most beneficial lecture I have watched to date because it also summarizes many of the GAAP accounting methods for the various topics. It's a good review and I plan to watch that section over (which I have never done before).

Tim Gearty is great!!! I could not STAND when becker would toss in Michael Brown. I think its because he reminded me of an IRS auditor i've been dealing with for a client for 2 years so I held a personal grudge but WOW those lectures were brutal
