So I’m not even through half of the MCQ’s for the first section of F2 and I’m already ready to give up. There’s just SO much information and I don’t know if the chapter actually helps you with the questions that they’re asking.

Is anyone else having this issue with F2? I understood F1 way better.

F2 is one of the hardest chp in my opinion so don't be discouraged. I felt the same way when I was going through that chp. In fact, I skipped that chp and went back after finishing up all the other chapters. When I went back, I thought I understand it a bit better. I honestly don't think you need to master all the info. in that F2 to “pass” but definitely need to know the basics

    FAR- PASSED
    AUD- PASSED
    REG- PASSED
    BEC-

You got to do what you have to do!

Everyone has trouble with F2. There's no real secret either. Just keep working on it until things start to click.

I think the biggest problem (and this shows up in AUD too) is what the book and lecture covers and what the MCQ asks for look totally different. But, again, just keep at it and it will come together.

Keep at it! I felt the same way by F2 thinking, (its only going to get worse from here). After F2, the chapters are more focused (with the exception of F10). Once you are done with it, you'll be ready for more.

Just take each subject at a time because there are a lot of calculations/theory to grasp, but each individually is not very hard. The volume can trick your mind into thinking its hard.

F2 was the most challenging in the book. It's downhill after that.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.

F2 is the worst! Keep on chugging – there is a lot of duplication between F2 and F10 and the good news is by the time you get to F10 it will seem very easy.

F2!!!!! OMG this chapter was tough but keep working the MCQS. Take notes and write down why you get the answer wrong. Practice! Practice! Practice! keep grinding buddy. During my prep for BEC I broke down and cried when I was going through variance analysis lmao! I really did cry so don't feel discouraged keep fighting through!!!! You got this! Good luck

It's definitely the first section that is giving me the fits. I know revenue/expense recognition is a big deal but I think that I have a decent high-level understanding of the concept. I'm just going to move on and come back to the first section, with hopefully a better sense of mind. Thanks for the encouragement!

I was ready to throw my laptop across the room while studying F2. I ended up forcing myself to just move on and told myself I would come back to it during review (although I never really did). Becker MCQs will really beat you up so just try to keep moving along. I used Ninja MCQ during my two week review which, in my opinion, are much more doable and on the same level as actual exam questions.

I thought F2-F4 were all horrible. I would at least skip the optional MCQs. You can go back when you're finished.

Just stick with it. Read the textbook and do all multiple choices. you'll be fine
