Just got back my AUD score and I scored another 63 ! Ugh this is so frustrating. I spent 5 weeks going through the becker lectures and highlighting and doing all the home works. On the final weeks leading up the exam I did all the progress test and scored in the high 70’s to low 80’s. I’m not sure what to do at this point.

That is frustrating! I'm sorry. I found audit to be the most difficult exam. It sounds like you put in a lot of effort. Do you think you were memorizing answers? Maybe you should buy a new test bank for your next attempt. I would also recommend self made flash cards because there is a lot of memorization necessary for audit.

I'm sorry to hear it. I agree with y_u_no_pass you should definitely incorporate a new test bank. I highly recommend NINJA MCQ. I actually ended up using 3 test banks for my Audit exam. I used the 2014 Wiley book (only 5.95 on Amazon.com), Roger and NINJA for my final review. It was definitely worth it. Another thing that helped was using the Authoritative Literature to help me with the SIMS, other than the research question. I found answers to the SIMS word for word in the AL. Hope this helps! Good luck with everything!!

@y_u_no_pass yea it did seem like i was memorizing the answers to the questions as I was doing them over and over again. I used ninja mcq's the first time with roger and ended up with a 63. Should I start from scratch again and watch the lectures and go over the book again ?

Yes, I would recommend that. Do you know what your weak areas are?

Haven't gotten back the report, but most likely the SIMS and A4 with the transaction cycles.

Thinking about taking a month off just to gain back some of my sanity. Work is gonna be pretty hectic for 4 weeks, so Idk if that is the best idea if I'm gonna start from scratch again.

Studying the transaction cycles are kind of tricky if you don't work in a corporate environment or auditing firm because I think a lot of that has to do with real-world application. I think the best thing to do is make your own chart of the transaction cycles and identifying who approves, records, has custody, etc…for internal controls and then the same for audit procedures.
