So yeah…failed. Blows, but need to get back on that horse and try to finish this thing early January. How long should I need to study for a retest? I am using Becker and thinking I might supplement with something. Maybe Wiley or NINJA notes. Any suggestions as to how many weeks/what supplement I should use?

    REG - 5/21/2012 - 85
    FAR - 7/24/2012 - 86
    BEC - 8/27/2012 - 85
    AUD - 10/5/2012 - 72....rematch 1/3/13 (waiting)

Ninja notes and audio helped me tremendously in my retake. I also used Becker. Jeff breaks it down well and helped clear up some items I had trouble with… Best wishes to you!

    REG 72, 86 and DONE!!!
    BEC 80 🙂
    FAR 72, 78 🙂
    AUD 73, 76 🙂

I think a month is sufficient. I started studying August 29 and took the exam on October 4. You can definitely do two chapters a week. Don't waste your time re-watching the lectures. Work through as many MCQs as you can. I primarily used Becker, but also “CPA Review For Free” for some of my weaker areas. What I found helpful was everytime I got a question wrong, I understood why I got it wrong, then wrote the correct explanation in a notebook. Then, I reviewed my notebook on the way to work, during lunch, etc. Best of luck!

@nimmle02….me too. My scores are just around ur for BEC and REG on first try too. People say AUD is the easiest, but after exam, I knew I failed, and now I can confirm that I failed.

I spend about 4 wks. Did all MCQ question (2x) and was full confidence about AUD. I used becker self-study.

and personally I hated studying for AUD at the first place.

Improve your research skills for SIM,I used Auth literature for all of my sims and made sure i had 2 hrs ..

I knew i did bad in MCQ – coz my difficulty level dint increase.

So the key is to pass Sims., In my last 2 attempts i did comparative and stronger in MCQs respectively and weaker in SIMS

Audit is seriously the worst. And this is coming from someone who works in audit. haha. I should get the email soon showing my weaker areas and then at least I can have an idea on what areas I should concentrate more time on.
