Hey, so I found out i failed FAR the other day and now am going to reschedule it or the beginning of October. I am using becker and was wondering if anyone had some studying tips for the second time around? Should i literally go through every chapter again and watch the lectures? I was thinking about focusing on skimming through the book and continuously working questions. Any advice is appreciated it. Thanks

offlineMemberIn my review of BEC it helped to watch the lectures again, just to refresh/relearn... then I hammered down on the MCQ's, I did my retake review in a week and a half and got 8 additional points...

offlineMemberHi..maybe this may sound too much bit it's a safe bet to passing. I used to struggle with FAR..took it 3 times alltogether but the time I passed is when I used the Wiley book (it'slike $55 on Amazon) and I didn't necessarily listened to lectures but I read the book (It's huge I know) but I read each lecture only once out loud (so I don't fall a sleep) and did every MC. I also bought the Yaeger cram for FAR. It's totally worth it. Cindy explains the cash flow like no one else. It's really good. Becker didn't do it for me on FAR. Don't know why. It maybe that I didn't have a solid base to begin with. Not sure but once I did the above bam I got 81. I might've done better if the last few days before the exam I didn't slack off. I did something similar for Reg as well and I just passed with 85. I would definitely say use Wiley manual and Yaeger cram, listen to what Phil and Cindy say and you are golden.
