I just got my score today 39. I am so shocked.. I thought I did pretty good especially with MC questions and research questions the rest I was just guessing. This was my first exam but I never thought I would score this low. I worked only with Wiley Book and did all the released questions also.I didn’t practice sims.. but uhhhhhhhhhh I am so embarrassed to even tell my parents

It sounds like a sales pitch but… Ninja MCQ. A few hundred questions in and you'll know exactly where your weak spots are and what may have led to you getting the score that you did.

Do you think nerves perhaps got the best of you? People who “don't get it” usually get in the 50's.

    AUD - 75*, 88 done 5/14! (*exp)
    BEC - 74 , 77
    REG - 65 , 76 (10 point combooo!!)
    FAR - 69 , 75

So I am assuming m the dummies category if I got a 39′ . I swear this is so weird bc I was scoring at 80′ with Wiley… I completely don't get it for real and I had a lot of similar questions I worked on and I was like this is so easy I stressed myself for nothing . Questions were straightforward no tricks or long computations… I def need HELP

After 2 months of studying full time, it sounds like Wiley is not the right review for you. I agree with Zieba about at least adding Ninja (I am a fan of the Ninja notes). Wiley is all I used but it complimented my learning style so I passed. If I needed more structure, etc it certainly would have not been the right choice for me.

You don't need to tell your parents your score, just let them know you'll be retaking it…like most of us have to do for some sections and you'll get it next time!

I think also maybe you didn't read the question as well as you think you did. Little words can change the whole answer of the question.

Also if you didn't practice any SIM's i think this time round you should practice some. Just to get an idea of what they are like and it will actually tell you if you have the concepts locked in as well as you think it did.

Mostly focus on doing MCqs – Make your own short notes of on each chapter. after you do a batch of MQ's.

Ninja notes do help as well – but I also believe if you create your own – it sits better in your head.

PS . Failure does not define you – so do not feel in any shape or form – embarrassed. Just re-design you studying methods to be more effective.

That score seems really low for you especially since you think you understand things mostly and were getting much higher on Wiley. Is there any possible way maybe one of the testlets did not submit correctly? I have read about other people on here having the same experiences and to me it just seems so bizzare. Don't beat yourself up too much about it. This test is daunting and no need to get on to yourself. You will get it next time.

    AUD - 73,91
    FAR - 79 - Thank you God!
    BEC - 73,79!!!!
    REG - 92 whatttt??!

I used Becker review + flashcards, Ninja Audio, Ninja MCQ supplement on BEC and REG.

    Done! Praise God!

    @sweetcpa,

Hey, You're not a dummy…….some of us have failed, failed miserably, and failed more than once. The key to this is to not give up. You have to keep tryin if you want those coveted letters. I agree to having a way to evaluate your progress. Understanding is also important, so…….there is a lot to this exam but never, never, never ever give up……..Many have passed and so can you. Gut check, review materials, round two…..Good luck.

Ouch. I'm probably just echoing the other responses, but one more voice can't hurt — change your review program. Whether that means switching from Wiley to something else entirely or supplementing the Wiley books with, say, NINJA MCQ is up to you. You have to be just as serious when you're studying for the retake, if not more so.

It's really bizarre to see such a disparity between your 80s on Wiley and your actual exam score, though. I wonder what happened? Usually scores under, like, 50ish are from people who sit for the exam without having studied half of the materials and want to get a feel for what the section is like. Did you answer all the sims?

Me neither … I actually rescheduled this exam 3 times just because I didn't feel ready and All I did is write and re-write the theory and all the main topics worked in all questions . Yes I think I underestimate the Sims. I am 100% I got at least the research question right. God knows what went wrong
