Am I the only one that thinks this rule is ridic? Having to wait a ridic amount between retakes, esp if its your last is just plain stupid.

ya… on my last exam I would totally still be studying right now if I could retake right after my scores come out. As it is… now if I don't pass I will wait to study til after the holidays & retake in Jan bc not worth taking it early in Jan bc I would have to wait until march to take again…

It totally seems like a fine rule til you're on your last one

Well look at it this way. If we could retake an exam in the same window, that means the AICPA would need to create 2+ sets of exams for each subject for each window. (because if you retake it in the same window now it would be the exact same exam word for word).

If the AICPA actually had to do that, they'd use it as an excuse to triple the cost of taking each section. Yeah great you'd be able to retake the section again in NOV but it would have cost you so much more. You'd be willing to pay triple for this exam to get it out of the way but you would have paid more for every section you've taken as well. Either way they'd make you miserable.

@mla… great point. ugh. They'd have awesome passing rates if they didn't make new tests! hahaha

Is the word ‘ridiculous' really so difficult to spell?
