I just failed REG (my last one) and my AUD expired…Im in danger of my BEC expiring on the 27th of this month…therefore I am trying to take audit and reg on the 26th. so I can take 2 and not 3 tests…

Do i have enough time to get my NTS approved by the 27th? I am in CALIFORNIA by the way. I heard it takes longer for Cali. can someone from Cali tell me how long it takes?

All the seats are full for the last few days of May in southern cali…will seats open up closer to test date? or should i just give up and let me BEC expire and slowly take all three tests?

    Thanks!

I am so sorry to hear about your experience. Its a difficult situation to be in!!

It can take upto 2 weeks to get a new NTS. I am from Cali. Also if you failed Reg in this testing window (April/May) you cannot take it again till July.

wjun15 – it can take up to two weeks for the NTS to come through in California.

Start studying to AUD if that is the one you want to tackle first. Once your NTS comes through keep checking pro-metric any available seats. Seats do open up at at the last min as students do push back the exam if they feel they are not ready. All you need to do is keep checking everyday until one does open up.

Sorry you have to retake AUD and BEC. But if you have passed them before – you can pass them again. Just focus on studying them.

Unfortunately you are going to lose BEC either way if you just took REG in the April-May window because you can't sit for the same section twice in one window. I'm so sorry.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

you cant retake reg in this cycle, so BEC is sadly gone. I wish they would change this, it is a silly rule. I am worried about losing my FAR as well.

I m in SoCal. Just scheduled my exam yesterday on May 28th. There were plenty of sits available except for the last weekend of May.

And last year I applied for my nts in November, and I got it within 5 days.

    Best of luck to you!!!!!
