I’m retaking FAR and I was wondering if you have any techniques in a better studying.

I’m not re-watching the lectures it’s just too time consuming and I feel like I know it already.

My score was 70 using Becker only btw.. weak point was simulation. (surprise, I know.. not)

i dont want to make the same mistakes! i feel like last time i studied so hard! i’m re doing all questions and SIM but not sure if thats enough.

    FAR May/17/15 - 70, 78
    AUD Aug/19/15 - 80
    BEC Nov/17/15 - 78
    REG Feb/24/16 - 78

Becker selfstudy + NINJA 10 point combo
Patience Practice Persistence.. & You'll get there!

I CANT BELIEVE I'M OFFICIALLY DONE. *Tears of joy*

You may want to consider getting another test bank to have some fresh questions. I study for retakes like it is the first time, but I didn't watch lectures. I read the book, answered book MCQ, took notes, and worked the test bank hard. I try to go through every question at least once and my problem areas twice. I used WTB for FAR (Ninja wasn't out yet) and Ninja for REG. Getting more questions should help a lot. Another tip for FAR is to practice JEs for all the questions, not just the ones that require it. Here are some good JE sites that could help you.

    Good luck!

@LamBam I agree with Mamabear on all points. If you feel you don't have enough time to go through two test banks then ditch Becker. NINJA MCQs are the way to go. Better explanations for the answers and also has references you can drill into to make the information come together. Also, the NINJA SIMS are more like the real exam. Good luck with everything!

    FAR - (11/01/14) 71 (02/07/15) 79

If you have been failing that means you have to do something different. What ever you do, DON'T keep on doing the same thing over and over again. That is actually one of the biggest lessons learned on my journey. Continue doing MCQ's but that should not be your focus.

FAR- I went from MWord notes to flashcards; I also covered answers to calculate independent solutions with out the four MCQ options.

AUD- Went form Mword notes to handwritten flash cards; Now I am memorizing Becker flashcards, and outlining the lectures on blank paper with out the assistance of the book.

FAR and AUD are very different kinds of exams, but still they both require objectivity. For example, independently calculated answers and word for word memorization.
