Failed Reg Retake – Becker Expired

I just received my Reg score of 61. I took this exam last year and scored a 60. The second time I scored better on homework questions and felt I had a better understanding. Also created a schedule and stuck to it. I scored around 48-60 on the Becker practice exams. During the exam, I had a difficult time and felt the questions getting easier, and the SIMs were foreign to me as well.I did not think I passed, but I would have thought I would score in the high 60s.

Now that my Becker software expired, I am thinking about retaking Reg in April and buying a Wiley textbook, Ninja MCQ, and look for some free MCQs. Is anyone else on the same boat, I know when people post on these forums, only the people who passed their section tend to post. Anyone passed Reg on their retake, what did you do differently?

Did you qualify for the Becker Promise? If you complete 100% of the videos and 90% of the MCQs overall, they will extend you tuition-free.

The B4 firm where I work requires that you qualify for the Becker Promise when using Becker. I think it's a great motivation to push through and get it done even if you don't feel like doing 100s of BLaw MCQs.

I would just buy the Ninja MCQs. You already have a textbook all marked up.

    BEC - PASS (79)
    AUD - PASS (63, 71, 74, 74, 83)
    REG - PASS (88)
    FAR - PASS (58, 89)

I think the Becker promise is only good for the first year (counting from the date you receive your materials). Ninja now has a book so you can definitely purchase that and ninja mcq. Another option, is to read the Becker book and use ninja mcq ($40 after coupon code HIYA). Which is hell of a deal for what you get! Many people have passed with only reading the becker book and utilizing ninja mcq.

I called becker without the becker promise and requested for an extension. They asked for my prometric confirmation and extended it till that date. You could try calling them.

my becker expired in january and i requested an extension for reg because i had a test coming up. so i extended reg to the max. i like the becker software for its ease of use and how it tracks your score as you do them, and the questions load pretty quickly after another. the ninja mcq takes some time to load btw questions, but its still a pretty good price for what you get.

Even if you have to pay to renew Becker, then it may be worth it, if you know that you like it.

Renewal is nothing like the original price – like $200 per section which I know is a lot of money, but this whole process is expensive, so it's all relative.

But, supplementing with new questions would be helpful too, so you may consider Ninja MCQ with or without Becker.

    FAR - 86 - 2/27/14
    AUD - 75 - 5/29/14
    BEC - 80 - 8/31/14
    REG - 89 - 2/27/15

Call becker to see if they will give you a 90 day extension for free. They did that for my friend when his software expired the only thing they asked was him to forward the appointment confirmation from prometrics and they will extend up to that day or 90 days whichever is less.

    FAR - 87 (11/3/2013)
    BEC - 81 (12/6/2013)
REG - 87 (8/11/2014) Impact of work on my goals...still passed on first try... HAPPY! HAPPY!
AUD - 86 (2/28/2015) (More impact of work arg)
