Hi everyone. I am new to this Forum. I want some input on the CPA exam. I am currently studying for FAR right now (F3). Because of work and other events it has taken me 1 month and a half to get to F3. I know, its a long time. :(, but I am now free from everything and giving it my all, after work hours of course. I am looking into getiing NINJA Audio and wanted to know if it’s too late to get it? Any input would be greatly appreciate it as far as studying tips, etc. I’ve read some comments of people scoring in the high 30’s and eventually scoring 75+ and let me tell you, that is really discouraging.

Don't stress over what other people have to say about how difficult the exam is. That is such a relative concept.

I had the same sort of panic over FAR because it was my first exam, and all I heard from friends or saw online was how difficult FAR is and how most people will have to take it multiple times. In my mind, I thought everyone who takes these exams must be really smart and well-educated and hard-working and put everything they have into studying but still come up short. That is clearly not always the case.

All you can control is how well-prepared YOU are. And while you will never take a practice exam that matches the exam you will see at Prometric on the big day, you CAN get close enough to that exam to effectively gauge how well-prepared you are. Read the text, do the homework, and take as many comprehensive practice/progress tests as you can. If you are scoring reasonably well on those, then don't flip out about exam day.

As for NINJA audio, I used it extensively for FAR, and I think it helps a lot. Unless your exam is tomorrow, it is not too late for you.

I have been doing ok on the homework (70's), but feel like I should be doing better. FAR will be my first exam too and plan on taking it the first week of July. It will give me almost three weeks to review. It sucks that there are no exams administered in June.

You have some pretty good scores. Congratulations! and good luck on BEC!

    Thank you for your response.
