Hi everyone. Just graduated. Been studying far for almost a month w Becker and Wiley mcq bank. I am half done F8 and have some concerns. My plan is to just hammer out the review modules…lectures, homework, and a day of progress testing. After F10, I plan to rework the homework, do progress tests, try to study where I’m weak, then final review exams. Here’s the problem. I’m averaging in the sixties on all my tests. I feel like I’m not retaining. I keep the material in my head all day, but seem to miss some due to having forgotten, or not properly reading the question (ohhh…it happened in June, not January).

To those who have passed far, am I on track? People say it will one day miraculously click. Is that true? My transcripts are in transit and I’m hoping to sit late July.

Thanks again everyone for the great forum. It’s really helping me get through.

60s on the homework isn't bad the first time through. It really depends on how you do the second time around (or, if you don't re-do every question, how you do on the progress tests and practice final).

FAR is hard, and it's impossible not to fall for some of the tricks. I'm not ashamed to admit that I missed a question or two on the practice final because I assumed depreciation started in January when it actually said July. Learn from your mistakes.

If you haven't touched the early material at all, though, it's going to be a bumpy road for a while as you re-learn it via progress tests / old MCQs. It will start to click in time.
