Our value does not come from our skills and abilities, as good as they may be; it does not come from our GPA, our job, a promotion from that job to a better job, our success on the CPA exam, or anything of the like; but our value comes from the fact that we have a Creator who loves us, cares for us, and desires to help us navigate the rough waters of this life in a way that provides security, hope, and true, everlasting joy while we anticipate the life to come, with Him.

I suppose it's possible. You'd need to crush the MCQ sections, get near-perfect scores on the other three sims and grab partial points on the “bombed” sims.

I wouldn't say completely “bomb” them but if you do enough pieces of it you got a good shot. I walked out of my last FAR exam ready to meltdown because the SIMS appeared to be beyond my comprehension even though I studied my life away. I passed with a 77.

    B - 80
    A - 71, 67, 77
    R - 71, 77

On 2/1/16 I did not have time to even touch 2 of the sims, and did half on sims with Basic EPS, did not finish the Diluted EPS, and my score was 69. So, I felt my MCQs were decent.

So, I am praying for you man, and good luck.

Hey shane, I created an account just to comment. I took FAR today too and felt that the SIMs were impossible. I pretty much guessed on 3 of them and was unable to finish 1.

I will let you know on March 9th when I get my score. Sims weren't as bad as some of the practice ones I tried. A couple of them were basically duplicates of ones I did with different numbers and scenarios. I had one with journal entries that I basically guessed the whole thing because I couldn't understand what they were asking for. I made a rookie mistake and didn't check the AL for the last sim and I'm praying it doesn't come back to haunt me when I get my score next week.

patelhj1- I'm using Roger and Ninja. Funny thing is I used mostly Ninja leading up to the exam, but decided to throw some of Roger's test bank in a couple days before and ended up seeing those sims on the exam.

For AUD I only felt confident with 2 sims (one being research) and I managed to scrape by with a pass. I got my score report because I am in CA and I got weaker on sims and stronger on mcq.

Almost always from my phone... please excuse my typos!

Its very possible. A few posters somewhere on the forum ONLY filled out 2.5 sims and left the others black to due running out of time. When they got their results, they all passed!!! So it is very possible, but you most likely have to CRUSH the MCQs and do well on the sims that you are comfortable with. This is why you start with sims that you know to get them out of the way.

Yep – I agree. I typically try to do questions in order, but I was all over the place on SIMS knocking them out based on how well I knew them. I left #1 and #2 for last because they were both on topics that gave me a lot of problems during studying. Luckily, I was able to utilize the AL to hopefully get me half credit on #2. For #1, I gave it my best effort. I stared at it for 15 minutes, but it was just frustrating me more so I hit submit. I will say too another thing that helps is not taking so long on the MCQ that you don't give yourself enough time for the SIMS. I finished the MCQ's in 90 minutes so it was nice to feel somewhat relaxed for the SIMS (beyond being ***** at myself on the first 2, lol).
