FAR bond questions – does real exam provides you present value table?

    Or do I have to understand the calculator well to solve bond questions?

    I find the calculator and writing materials are more than enough for the test. I haven't taken FAR, but I can't imagine the need to write out an amortization schedule on the test unless it's a simulation.

    I'm not sure what review course you have but typically they will give you a giant table of a bunch of PV factors (if it's a sim) or they will give a few in a MCQ type question and you will have to select the right value and then make the calculation.

    you have to know the different PV and FV tables. I have sims on bonds and leases and if you dont know which PV table you use basically you are screwed and all the calculations are wrong so for my retake, i make sure i know bonds and leases in and out
