April 30 guys!! after consistently studyin' since february 4. This will be my first time. However, I don't know how can other students take this exam in two months as there is tremendous amount of material involved. It seems like I am just one of the “dumb” candidates appearing for this exam. I still don't feel confident. As a supplement, I will be purchasing the final review and maybe it brings me more confident. Good luck to all sitting for this exam.

You should never feel “dumb”!! I'm jealous of you! You've already passed 3 of the 4 parts, that's awesome! Keep doing what you're doing – it seems to be working. I honestly think you don't need to spend money on the final review….just go through some of the resources that are available to you either from Club 75 or anything that is one these forums that people pass around. I passed FAR after 7 weeks, but that's because that's all I did (I studied anywhere from 4-6 hours a day/7 days a week). I recently started full time work and sitting for BEC next. I'm kind of flipping out…hopefully it will be ok.

glogo2384, can you tell me how you score your “77”s? I keep getting 73s, and if I pass 79 or 80. I don't need those extra points, all I need is 75 or 77. I think aicpa are adjusting my score down every time I am around the 75 so that they can get some more cash…

Ok everyone I think that FAR sucks. I have already studied for it almost twice as much as any other exam and still not finished.

    AUD (49 Hours) 83 Aug 2009

    REG (45 Hours) 77 Jan 2010

    BEC (18 Hours) 79 Feb 2010

    FAR (78 Hours) ?? April 2, 2010

I think when I've gotten 77s, it came with having confidence. I scored 74s on BEC and REG before I passed them both with 77s. I just stopped second guessing myself and trusted my preperation and gut. Needless to say, I also put in more time when studying… you can do it! Make sure you are smart when taking the exam as well. Always shoot to maximize your score in the MC section, write a great COM, try to find the RES, and do your best with the SIMs. SIMs is what always bring my scores down… I never felt confident about any SIM, other than AUD. But with AUD, you have so much time, I was able to leverage the RES tabs… Hope this helps. I received a 72 the first time I took FAR. I knew I bombed the SIMs, my plan this time is to study my weak spots and use the same approach and hope to improve yet another 3 points 72 + 3 = 75! = Pass! 74 + 3 = 77 = Pass!

    ? AUD - 87 (8/12/09)
    ? REG - 77 (1/15/10
    ? BEC - 77 (1/6/09 - Expired) / 79 (11/18/10)
    ? FAR - 75 (2/11/11)

I will take Far on April 1. I have been studying since January 11. Right now I am re-reading the chapters and doing the MCQs. Is it necessary to practice the sims?

I am taking FAR April 13. I'm using Becker and planning on major reviews and MCQ for the next two weeks! I found out Friday from NC that I passed BEC, which was my first exam so that has given me some additional motivation. Right now I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed with FAR and would appreciate any last minute tips and or suggestions.

    Thanks!

I will be taking it April 29th. Right now going through F3, and I still do not understand consolidations in F2. But, i will be studying those in detail throughout the weeks so I absolutely can not get stuck on one section.

Hi guys, I did a progress test on chapters 1-6 from becker and I only got 5 wrong out of 65. Is that ok or I need to dominate all questions?>???

    Christian,

If you can score consistently in the 80-90% in practice tests and MC's you will be fine. Repetition is key. You are on course.

OK. From what I see, the Government questions in becker are very long and tricky. The exam questions are like these ones?
