Took FAR yesterday. I went into it knowing I didn’t give myself enough time to study and what not but thought I still had a chance.

Welp, after rushing through the MCQs to leave enough time for the SIMS I wound up just eating my own balls on the SIMs.

I thought there would be one or two that I would get really stuck on but it turned out that I was stuck on 5 of them. I basically put in anything close to what i had written down (which didnt fit as a possible answer for most of them) and put in a lot of 0’s.

In addition to struggling with the clock and scrounging for points, the guy next to me had to have been sick or something because he let out a terrible radiation filled fart about every 20 minutes. The smell basically acted like a smokey cartoon fist that punched me in the nose and then grabbed a handful of Not-For-Profit knowledge out of my brain each time.

Silver lining: I held it together and managed to not put my fist through the monitor with 10 min to go and I managed to get the correct answer to the research SIM with 20 seconds left.

I had a similar experience with FAR. Minus the radiation farts that is.

Venting feels good, doesn't it? We all do/did it. We all have been there. It sucks.

At least you accepted the reality that you didn't go into it as prepared as you should have been. You won't make that mistake again, because the feeling of being woefully unprepared really sucks.

You'll knock it out next time. Just starting studying, and jump right back on that section.

Do you think more study time overall would have helped on the SIMs or do you think you needed to actually practice more SIMs?

I have FAR on Tuesday and have only worked a handful of SIMs and am trying to decide where my time would be better spent.

Radiation farts…hahaha! When I took AUD, the girl next to me read everything on her exam out loud (not loud enough that I could hear what she was saying, but definitely loud enough to be a pain in the @ss). It was so distracting.

I'm taking FAR tomorrow…pretty sure SIMs are going to kill me :
