With FAR, I recently failed with a 65. Do you think it would reasonable to keep studying from now until April 5th, and take the exam again then? About 3 1/2 weeks? Let me know what you guys think.

The first time around, I gave it a good effort but was balancing jobs and an MBA, and although I did put in the time a bit, I’d get frustrated working through long problems and had trouble studying more than 2 hours at a time. Now I think I’ll be fine as I had a solid grasp of everything and am really solidifying the info this time around.

    Any help is appreciated.

Hey in the same boat as you, I already started studying for BEC so Im just gonna continue with that but I am definitely taking FAR again right after. If I didnt already start studying for this section I would take FAR again asap. 3.5 weeks of solid review should be good enough to get a pass, as you said before you feel pretty comfortable with it already.

plus you can take another test end of May…

    AUD - 75 ☺
    FAR - 65, 71, 70, 77 ☺
    BEC - 80 ☺
    REG - 73, 66, 79 ☺ 2/28/15

    Done!

I'm in the same boat, I had B3 done-I'd look into skipping BEC and doing FAR again, because I heard BEC is easiest from people who've taken it. REG is scheduled for the end of May, and wrap up BEC on July 1st or so(I might even try to sneak it in at the end of May if permissible)

Ha weird, I'm your CT counterpart, I just finished B4. I would reschedule my BEC exam but its all set for april 6 and I haven't gotten my NTS for FAR yet. I'm not sure if I can schedule FAR early April (where I am everything in April on the weekends are pretty much filled). So Ill take it end of May after a month or so of reviewing. Good luck to you as well…

    Wwynne-

Im in the EXACT same mindset as you…I got a 66 and am in a time crunch to get it done, as I have to pass this and audit by July to keep my REG credit…so I'm looking to take FAR asap..

I also felt really good about my grasping the material…I am using Becker, some Wiley test bank, and NINJA, and I found that I was getting many questions wrong on the study material, but they go into way more crazy detail that the test, and when I took the test I felt very comfortable on the MC…the depth of the questions and the amount of time to figure out the answers were very demanding on study time, so I agree they can be frustrating…what I felt stumped me was the SIMS section…I felt completely lost on a few of them, yet after the test I felt that I can attack those areas and retain the knowledge of the others…we can do this!
