Feel totally unprepared. I’ve done Becker lectures, and I continue to drill Ninja MC. Can’t help but be stressed, anybody feel like they bombed only to find out they passed?

Our value does not come from our skills and abilities, as good as they may be; it does not come from our GPA, our job, a promotion from that job to a better job, our success on the CPA exam, or anything of the like; but our value comes from the fact that we have a Creator who loves us, cares for us, and desires to help us navigate the rough waters of this life in a way that provides security, hope, and true, everlasting joy while we anticipate the life to come, with Him.

No joke, probably about 90 percent of the people here. It's impossible to feel prepared for FAR; it's just so much material. If you put in the time you'll be okay. Just spend these last days on JE's, Gvn't/NFP, and bonds. If you're insanely weak in an area (except for those 3), move on and solidify the items you're seeming to grasp (I thankfully did it for pensions).

I have never felt fully prepared for any exam, except my last round with REG. I just do too much in tax, but the others are a different story.12 days left until I sit for FAR, and I am stressing. My biggest problem is reading the questions and making small (stupid) mistakes.

Also, you will always be stressed until you walk out of the exam room.

    CPA EXAM: DONE!!!!

@Shane I just replied to your post about J/Es and I have to agree with others that you never feel really prepared. This was my second attempt at FAR and although I studied my butt off I still didn’t walk out of there with a warm and fuzzy feeling. :/ Just praying that all my hard work paid off. I’ve gotten so much great advice on this forum so I’d definitely take a look at what other people have done 3 days before the exam and you’ll see that most of us crank out as many MCQs as possible but make sure you are understanding the concepts behind the questions not just memorizing steps, concepts, etc. I personally did J/Es with most of my MCQs and also T-acccounts just to understand what was really going on…I did this in the beginning of my studying since I struggled a lot with Bonds, leases and investments. Also, I’m so grateful to @determined CPA because they told me to focus a lot of my studying on government and NFP on my last few days and that really paid off since both combined make up about 20% of the exam. Also, don’t forget IFRS…

FAR is huge, you won't feel prepared. My suggestion is make a one page list of memorization facts to study the morning of the test and just quiz your weak areas until then. Good luck!

@ shanek327 I think no one will ever feel prepared for FAR. That's why we call it “beast”. You got this. Mamabear is right. read your notes and non-stop mcq. Just don't forget the favorite topics such as govt/nfp, ifrs, bonds, leases, pension, conceptual framework, franchise (income recognition).

You will NEVER feel prepared for FAR. There is so much information and anytime you think of one subject you're only going to be thinking about what you don't know from it. It's hard. Do a ton of MCQ and know the journal entries. Gov is huge. I was terrified going into AND leaving my exam. Put in the work and you'll be fine.

    DONE!!!!

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you're hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"
