    Everything’s still very foggy…

This is a first retake since my first attempt on last year june… I took other exams afterwards.

I’m getting around 60-70% each last five 20 questions mcq. But my average and trending is around 55%…

    I’ve also been studying full time for 4 months…. I know… I guess i’m really a slow learner..

But its really discouraging that everything’s very… Foggy…

Do I still have chance on this..?

I vote no just based from the information above. How many MCQ's have you completed?

    A - 79 expires 4/30/16 need a pass on REG
    B - 78
    F - 80
    R - 83!!! Can live again!

I use roger and ninja mcq. Together, I would say around 800-1000.

Ninja feels much more difficult than Roger.. I get around 70-80% with Roger material. I think the reason for the lower score is because Ninja covers much more stuff than Roger, which I believe is a good thing. But my mcq score suffers from it since my main material is Roger..

I mean maybe you have a chance. Can you do like 150 to 200 a day until the exam and try to get your score up? I was in the 2000 question area before my trending score was 85%. I would push super hard this week. If I were in your shoes (everyone is different) I would postpone it 2 weeks and do a ton of MCQ's. Maybe take 2 of those days to review all of the SIMS. FAR is so big it takes a lot of work. It's twice as much info as the other sections in my opinion.

    Do at least 200 a day x 5 = 1000

You definitely need to average at least 70%.. 80% range will be safer but anything below 70% I would be little concerned unless you are very comfortable with sims (most people do not)

The most I could do in a day are 90 questions..

Whenever I get a wrong answer, I have a habit of looking it up in my book and other materials.. It takes quite a bit of time. But due to my perfectionist habit I just can't pass unresolved question…

Do you guys think this is a bad idea? I find Ninja MCQ (or Roger mcq) explanation don't help me many times.. If I decide not to look up for more answer, I probably could do 200 a day. Im also afraid of memorizing the questions by flying through the questions too..

I dont know if this helps at all but I take FAR in one week. I studied for 2 months and everything is also foggy and honestly alot of it still makes no sense. I have a basic understanding of all the topics but I am having trouble with the details. Basically for the next week, im just gonna grind out as many multiple choice questions as possible and glance over some sims and hopefully that will be enough to pass.

In the world of business, cash is king… in the world of CPA test taking MCQ is king. 1,000 MCQ on Ninja FAR is not even seeing every question. I know from current experience (mid FAR studying) that there are so many one off NinjaFAR questions that need to be seen at least once before our brains bury it into our memory. I am currently around 2250 questions and with 25 days left plan on another 3,500-4,000. I would say best bet is to steamroll through the questions without taking too much time to analyze why you missed one. Read the brief ninja description for why a question is right or wrong and move on. Quantity over quality in my experience. Your brain will do the rest.

OP, does your MCQ average include repeated questions? If no, then you may be closer than you think. I agree that MCQ are key, but quantity is not better than quality. If you feel like everything is foggy at this point, it may be because you are not understanding the WHY of the question. I had Roger and I never hit 1000 mcq on any section – including FAR. My average was 65-70ish for every section, but that included no repeat questions (I re-read the explanations for the ones I got wrong during my review). And it's good that you are perfectionist, but being one does not lend itself well to studying for these exams. One good thing about FAR being so massive is they can't test you over everything – there's not enough time. My minimum goal when I studied was to be able to narrow down any question to 2 best answers. I'd also add don't forget the AL. It can help bail you out of SIMS that you get on shaky topics.

I pushed the exam three weeks from now… Man I feel like an extreme failure. I do nothing but studying (for three months — and I already studied this for two months a year ago!!) and I can't grasp right away just using Roger CPA and Ninja MCQ questions. Explanations seem vague and sometimes conflicting…

And I'm really becoming tired and sloppy after a year of constant studying (no work, just studying). For two days I completely lost myself and just sat on the desk doing nothing..

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong here. I passed REG and nearly passed AUD (70).. FAR, I just can't score over 65 on ninja mcq constantly… Any advice?
