I scheduled FAR 9 months back and have been pushing it off every month due to work schedule. I am scheduled to give it in a week and tried to do the same but Prometric informed me that I cant postpone the exam again because it expires in September. I have just 5 chapters prepared and am very busy at work this week. What is the best option I have here? Anyway to postpone it somehow?

The only option is to not sit for it and lose the $200.00. My advice is to do your best this week and give it your best shot when test day arrives.

If you've nailed 5 chapters down and your NTS will expire anyway, just take it. You never know what material you'll get on tHe exam, so you might get lucky. It's slim to none that you can get your NTS extended – I tried recently and it was for a much better cause than I didn't want to take the exam because I was putting off studying.

Passed all sections.
