    Hello All-

My first time posting. I took AUD last week and feel confident I passed. That leaves me with FAR or BEC to take next in Q1 of 2016. I lose REG July 30th, 2016, so I am just not sure which test to take next. I have time between now and roughly Feb 8th to take next one. So hopefully all goes well and then I have 2 window of opportunities to pass last section. Anyone’s thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

As you already passed REG and feeling good about AUD, so in my opinion you should try BEC first for january window try to take it at first week and then shedule FAR at end of february, FAR has much more syllabus than the BEC you need more time for FAR.
this way you get one window extra .

    I rotate a 3 hour test with a 4 hour test.

    BEC - 83
    FAR - 86
    REG - 92

    AUD - 74, 99 !!

I would recommend taking FAR before BEC. I took FAR first, then AUD and BEC. The FAR lessons helped me with the understanding of ratios which ran through all 3 so far, as well as annuities and PV that came up again in BEC.

    FAR first.

    FAR | 81 - July 21 15
    REG | 66 - Oct 1 15 | 87 - Jan 7 16
    AUD | 90 - Oct 29 15
    BEC | 86 - Nov 25 15

FAR first. Why would you leave the statistically hardest exam for last? Nothing will suck more than, worst case scenario, having to chase FAR for 18 months and loosing what you gained.

    AUD - 92
    BEC - 86
    FAR - 90
    REG - 82
    Licensed CPA since 2015.

    FAR - 90 ✔
    BEC - 86 ✔
    REG - 82 ✔
    AUD - 92 ✔

FAR. Especially since some FAR and AUD topics overlap. Since you just took AUD, it should help.

I vote for BEC. FAR helps with AUD, but I don't think it really helps the other way around. There will be overlap from AUD that helps with BEC.

You can play the statistically harder exam game if you want, but in your specific situation BEC should be a breeze if you take it next.

Generally I recommend FAR first if you're starting from scratch and haven't taken any sections, but taking into account which exams you've taken I'd go with BEC.

    BEC - 10/05/15 - 83
    FAR - 11/09/15 - 79
    AUD - 11/30/15 - 84
    REG - 02/14/16 - 82

Thanks everyone for your posts!! I am torn on what to take next. Luckily I have until December 9th to officially confirm, which at that point I have to make a decision. I am leaning towards FAR just because i will have a full 7-8 weeks to prep now for FAR before tax season really gets under way. Whereas by time I am done around April 15th with tax season I will only have roughly 6 weeks until that window closes on May 31st. Ahhhh decisions decisions!

I'd go FAR, I saved FAR for last and regretted it. Especially if you have 3 in the bag going into BEC… I felt like I slacked off when studying for FAR because I was so close to being done. Probably why I got the lowest grade on FAR but hey whatever man.

    tl;dr: FAR

    NYSCPA

Passed all sections between 5/15 - 10/15 order AUD REG BEC FAR (used Becker only)
