    So I noticed a bunch of us just found out we got non-passing scores in the low 70’s for FAR.

    I was supposed to be taking AUD 1/5/13, but I think I’m going to postphone that now, get the 10 point combo for FAR, and drill questions until I can retake in January.

    What’s everyone else thinking?

    Got the same 74 as you. I had a nagging feeling if I failed it was going to be by 1 or 2 points. Wish I was still dreaming or something.

    I'll start studying again soon, but this one is going to hurt for a while

    i agree.. postpone AUD and retake FAR while it fresh in your head. this exact thing happend to me-

    took far aug 23, had aud scheduled for oct 5th ended up failing far and retook far on oct 17th.

    however when i retook far i REstudied for it like it was the first time i took it.

    i used becker self study both times..

    I said go ahead and take AUD since youre already studying for it. Take FAR last! Thats what I did. You'll be surprised how much you still remember when you restudy!

    FAR 5/14 88 PASSED!
    REG 7/13 74 :((((((((....! I cant believe it!!!! I studied so hard...
    REG retake 11/29 -> 89!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    BEC 10/11/12 -> 84!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    AUD 10/25/12 -> 95!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm DONE! OMG 8 months of hard work.

    I SHALL PASS. BECAUSE IT'S ME, SO EVERYTHING WILL BE OK!

    I forgot to include that I'm only 4 day's worth of lectures into AUD. So haven't really been studying that much. That's why I'm thinking I should go back to FAR now. It's not like I'm giving up on a month of study time or something.

    Yes, I would suggest circling back to FAR before AUD. If you plan on taking it in early to mid-January start restudying now. Take a weekend off if you need too but then jump back into it quick. That second review of the material may bring a lot more clarity than you had previously. I did that with both BEC and REG and did well the second time. Also, add a different element to your approach so you don't get so burnt out on the material. Add audio, podcasts or flashcards to mix if you have to.

    A-79 (Expires 7/31/13)
    R-72,83 (Expires 4/31/14)
    F-80 No more expiration worries, I'm Done!

    Also, it may be more favorable to get through FAR now because it will help with AUD as well.

    Make sure you take AUD before July/August window because they will have the new clairty standards and other stuff I've heard. I'd try to take AUD at end of February so you can give yourself an extra window to pass in case you fail!

    FAR- 8/14/12 91
    AUD- 10/16/12 88
    BEC- 11/07/12 92
    REG- 01/05/13 86

    I have a similar problem. Planned on taking REG sometime in Jan 13 but just found out I failed FAR. Should I continue to study for REG or go back to FAR…?

    FAR - Nov 2012 = 73; Feb 2013 = 83!!! WOO!!!
    AUD - Apr 2013
    REG - Jul 2013
    BEC - Aug 2013

    Forget REG right now, it's a huge subject. I don't now why people put themselves through studying for another section and then have to relearn everything.

    @ Steven K, if I knew I had to retake FAR I wouldnt start studying for REG. I decided to start studying for REG while waiting for my FAR score to come out cuz I didn't just wanna waste my time waiting…

    FAR - Nov 2012 = 73; Feb 2013 = 83!!! WOO!!!
    AUD - Apr 2013
    REG - Jul 2013
    BEC - Aug 2013

    Definitely postpone AUD and take FAR again. I have passed REG, AUD, and BEC. FAR is the killer for me. I've had a 58, 68, and this time a 70. I have to pass it in January because my REG will expire 1/31/2013. UGH! I was hoping to celebrate Christmas without studying again!

    Well I just checked my score (63) this morning and although I am upset that I failed I guess it would be worse if it was higher. I feel good though because the improvement from my original score is significant and I think I'm on the right track to passing.

    For those of you who might be curious this is what I did different:

    1. I gave my self more time; almost 3 months.

    2. Switched from Becker to Yaeger

    3. Added the ninja notes and audio – which I love

    4. With Becker I studied nights only, with Yaeger I used the ELL plan. Love it!

    What I should've done but ran out of time on was do more MCQ's and SIM's. I was averaging at about a 50% on MCQ's according to the wiley test bank. So maybe I need to average a 62% in order to pass?????

    FAR - Bad Fail '11, Fail '12, Fail '13, PASS It's a miracle!
    AUD - Fail, PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    BEC - PASS!!!!!!!!
    REG - PASS!!!!!!!! And I'm done!
