    Hi,

I’m having trouble retaining information for FAR. I am almost done with FAR 8, and my NTS expires 2/28/16. I’m thinking after I’m done with FAR 10 (around December) I start reviewing FAR by redoing FAR 1-10 all over again. I know that seems crazy, but I’m losing all hope because when I went through FAR this time, I really didn’t understand anything. I feel like if I redo FAR 1-10 all over again I’ll understand everything.

By redoing, I’m thinking of doing all my HW questions again, rewriting my notes, and the ninja notes. I would really like to review for another month – month and half. Is that a bad idea?

This is my first exam… FAR really is a beast.

Sometimes less is more. Personally, cramming and relying on short term memory has worked best. I think that by taking so long you are losing a bit of that short term memory advantage. I think that jamming in as much info as possible in those last few days before an exam is the best way to go as long as you are getting quality study time. I would shoot for a Jan 1 test date – and that's actually probably too much, but you don't really have a choice since Dec is a blackout.

    REG - 81
    BEC - 83
    AUD - 86
    FAR - 78 (Done!)
