Out of curiosity, how many NINJA MCQs are you all aiming to do for your FAR review before sitting for the actual exam? I’ve read on here anything from 2000 to 5000 to even more as a ballpark. Or do you guys aim more for a certain trending score vs quantity?

Try to get to the review stage, and try to get your trending score to 85%. However many that takes.

I am really not trying to do a gazillion questions with no understanding, but I have about 30 days to really dig into far. So start where? I've taken far before and looking over ninja notes.quite a bit I still remember so calculations?, definitions? I want a good study in 30 days? A lot of questions? nerve wrecking? I know I am, so help me pass please. I don't think name calling is allowed on this site….phew….

The benefit of doing MCQs is that after each answer, you are given a short description on why an answer is correct, and you are also given the calculations.
When you do multiple questions over the same Vocabulary or Topic, it helps you remember the information even more.

The books and lectures don't always cover all of the materials. They usually cover the basics.
Sometimes, there will be questions over information that were not covered in both the books and lectures.

The Ninja FAR MCQs have about 1,700 questions.
At the minimum, I would like to go through all 1,700 questions once, and then go back and do the Government and Not-for-Profit questions a second time.

I am behind on my studies, but ideally, I would like to go through all 1,700 questions twice.

I recommend looking over the Simulations also.

I am an absolute fan of the mcq's, and is going to use them for the rest of the exam process, but should i start where the notes start? or just start with the initial phase, answering questions hoping to get to the adaption and review phase.
Someone gave a tip of making their ninja notes into flash cards and using them along with mcq's to get a handle on far. Then making a separate set of cards for J.E's. I think that's a good tip. I guess my problem is I hate getting the questions wrong. Ughhh. maybe i don't know how to use the mcq's.

I would do all the MCQ's for the reason Sang said above. But doing MCQ and not understanding can be disaster come exam day. I am doing all the MCQ's but I am writing Ninja notes first and skim read topic and then do MCQ's. I read each explanation even if I get them correct to see if I missed any important point in that specific topic (which could also help answering any other questions that you come across related to that topic). I write those important points on my Index Cards. If I get question wrong (especially calculation one) I write the question and reason why I got it wrong and what I did wrong.

I am behind on my studies for some personal reasons and I have not studied for last 2 days, so hopefully today can be productive.

I want to say I tried decently hard to GET to review. But it was too long. I was worried that I kept looking at those questions, I might memorize them. So I got to 2900ish…. and I did see all of them once.

I was aiming for overall percentage PER section. At one point, I was over 90 for at least 3 of them but my gov't score (71) gave me 86 trending. My average was lower than my trending, but not by much, like around 84.

While numbers are nice and all, I would shoot for understanding the problem. Getting it wrong is fine, understand it enough that you don't get it wrong again. Review the ones you KEEP getting wrong.

I never had the time to do more than however many questions there are in Ninja. I like to read the explanation and click on all the little pop-up links the questions have. So the maximum I could do is 200-220 per day. I did it by Category/New Questions. This was all after finishing the reading and MCQs/Simulations CPA Excel has.
