FAR scheduled, but…

I started studying for FAR in May, but I had to have surgery in June that threw off my studying groove (20hrs/wk ELL). Now with my exam scheduled for 8-31-12. I have no choice but to kick it in gear. I was following Jeff’s plan and have finished all of the videos and notes and am working on the assigned MCQs, but those aren’t going great since it’s been 2 months since I have seen this stuff. Do I realistically have time to get through the MCQs, rewrite notes, and review by 8-31? I am getting overwhelmed but I couldn’t put FAR off another month since Sept. is closed. This is my 1st attempt at any section and have no idea what to expect. Should I be panicking?

    FAR - 81 (8/31/12)
    AUD - 93 (10/19/12)
    BEC - 79 (11/27/12)
    REG - 92 (2/8/13) DONE! All 1st attempt!

Panicking? No. It can be done but you'll need to really buckle down. Don't waste your energy getting overwhelmed, just keep at it.

    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

I feel the same way and my test is on 8/30. I am just starting f-7 on becker, so thats 4 sections to go plus review time. I feel as overwhelmed as many others do, but as mla1169 above said, you can't panic, you just have to buckle down. I love my social life, but i know it has already slowed down my study process. I accept this and realize now that i have two options…i can either buckle down the rest of the month and give it 100% and see what happens, or i can most likely go into unprepared and fail. I have decide to buckle down, so after my golf tourney sat, i am on lockdown for the rest of Aug. I will be in work an hr plus early everyday, studying during lunch, and every evening.

My social life the rest of Aug is hanging out with a couple good friends, Peter and Tim.

I'm in a similar boat, watching all the videos first then doing review/MCQ's… just finished watching F9 (Becker). Pretty overwhelmed as I did not take Governmental or Not-for-Profit classes in college.

I'm going to focus on taking it one day at a time and not overworking myself. I feel when I do too much at one time my productivity goes down the drain.

Best of luck to you all!
