Hello, I’m a recent grad who has been studying this last month and half with the hopes of sitting for the exam in the first week of July. I just received notice that the California Board of Accountancy has my transcripts and is processing them (will take at least 2 weeks, according to them). Then I’ll have to wait for NASBA processing to sit for the exam, all with the hope that there will be an opening in that first week of July to sit.

My question is should I continue to study (becker, gone through all the chapters already–hw scores first go around are 65-75%, progress tests tend to be in 75-80% range) and hope to sit in the first week of July or should I relax just a little bit, continue to study not as hard and take the exam in the last week of July/early August? I have training for my job for two weeks in July, which is causing the problem for me. Basically, if you were in my shoes would you cram and try and study for the first week of July or try and be a little bit more methodical and take it in the last week?
