FAR scheduling with AUD to follow

I have FAR scheduled for a retake on 15th and I know I need to move it as I am in no way ready.

    I’m thinking about two options:

    A. Move it to the 24th, follow the 20 day MCQ study / SIM plan and crank hard for 3 weeks & try to focus in on the topics I scored weaker on, specific transactions & SIMS. This may work well for me because it seems the longer I have for an exam the more tempted I am to lose focus.

    B. Move it to the 31st. Obviously this would give me more time to study for FAR as the amount of material is crazy. However, I am scheduled to take AUD at the end of August and it would be my first time (since 2011) through the material. September is a crazy month for me so I was hoping to take two in one window… but I don’t know if 30 days is enough for AUD.

    Thoughts?

I vote for option A. 5 weeks sounds reasonable for AUD, while still giving you another 3 weeks from now to get down the FAR material. It sounds like you have a solid plan for tackling FAR and aren't falling into the “I only need X more points” trap.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

Thanks for the input Kimboroni… I think I'm leaning towards option A too.

I'd say option B. If you don't feel ready for FAR, don't force it.

I also did AUD in about four weeks, for what it's worth. I started studying on May 4th and took the test on May 30th. Can you study 25-30 hours a week?

    FAR: May 1st, 2014 - 91
    AUD: May 29th, 2014 - 97!
    BEC: July 16th, 2014 - 91
    REG: August 29th, 2014 - 88

I studied AUD in 30 days, which included a 7 day “vacation” to Mexico in which I only was able to pull 4-5 hours of studying per day and a 2 day trip to Vegas for a music festival. You just need to study smart and accept that you won't have much of a life during that time. Granted, I wasn't working or taking any classes…

I would say go for the quick AUD study plan. The worst thing that could happen would be that you have to push AUD back, after already having spent the whole month powering through it… Which would mean your workload wouldn't be as difficult even during your crazy September.

    REG: 84 on 4/18/14
    AUD: 93 on 5/29/14
    FAR: 90 on 8/8/14
    BEC: 91 on 8/31/14

    DONE!
