Is the authoritative literature useful for the FAR sims? I used it for my Audit sims and it really helped (thank you A71!) I was wondering if it is at all useful for FAR……

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

I didnt think so… I thought the Authoritative Literature was most helpful for REG & AUD.

For some simulations it might help, but I would say that for the vast majority probably not. I remember trying to use it for one or two simulations when I took it back in January, but it just didn't work out. For AUD, I used the AL for 3 of my simulations, it's a huge help there.

Just going to chime in and reiterate whats already been said. I tried to play around with it with the last 20 mins of my FAR test to see if I could confirm some answers, but it wasn't much help.
