Well I am pretty disappointed in myself. I didn't study at all this week… Maybe an hour on Monday… My hubby and I had an appointment on Friday which was moved to Tuesday and because it was after work I was pooped and didn't study after. Then Wednesday I had a bad day and OH one day won't kill you…Well it does! It kills your motiviation. But now I have no reason not to study! Father's day is at our house but I am at the point where I do nothing until I am done studying!

@Lstevens I am right there with you, I used up all my steam on Monday where I drilled 5 chapters and then was on my way to move on Tuesday. Except my son got hurt and we were at the ER until midnight! Then Wednesday I was with him all day again, (could've studied but didn't) Then yesterday I wasn't feeling well so I skipped another day. Today is my catch up day and this weekend.

The thing is that stuff comes up and it's ok but if you are already signed up for the exam, you have a deadline that you MUST meet. goodluck!

@orialis: I started to study for it FULLY by March (give or take)… 😕

I started studying in feb and it's been a drag. I saw the becker book for FAR and it's half the size of CPAexcel, that made me mad lol

@randomalt BTW, ahugemistake, we are in a similar boat. Using CPAexcel, father (of 1 toddler), and taking the exam in July.

goodluck dude!, having kids makes this exam even more significant because you aren't just taking it for yourself but for their future as well. Keep on truckin'!

I just got my 71 today as well, and I broke Becker’s final chain. Almost every person that has been able to pass Beckers final has also been able to pass the actual exam. I got a 76 on Becker’s first final and 71 on the actual exam.

I am joining the Q3 study group because I didn't pass today. I planning on taking it July 3 if I can find an available space. I would love to get it done before July 4th. I think if I really hammer out multiple choice and know IFRS backwards and forwards. I will pass next time. Lets do this.

anjanja,I don’t know how I failed I know FAR. Guys, we all need to work on Journal Entries. You will thank me for this advice when you see the exam. Becker assumes you know all your JEs inside out when you start studying with them. For example, correction or erron that go on RE, you need to know the JE for the adjustments and everything it hits.

Hi guys, I failed FAR for a third time today, got a 65. I think that the sims got me mostly, and I agree that journal entries are so important to know for this exam. So count me in and let's do this!
