Zubairs , you guys had a great group almost everyone got higher than a 78. I dint go there often cause I thought I was doing great and wanted to concentrate more on swirling problems by myself but I think I would have also passed have I join you guys. The interaction helps you understand the material in a different way and you tend to remember more that way.

@stoleway I would do the swap in a heartbeat. Fortunately for me BEC written portion was what actually saved me. As far as I can remember I was in a bubble but came through on the other side šŸ™‚ I didn't do a very in depth written part but I kept beating about the bush making general comments in relation to the topic given. Surprisingly it worked for me.

@gian yes it was the best study group but we can be there too. Just gotta keep contributing with questions and explanations.

ok everybody let's do this. Happy study!

@Zubairs- sorry to hear about the fail but you can do this!!!! Just tackle IFRS, Gov, and NFP and you've got this. I have faith in you!

My score is not as high as others but my two cents on SIMs is to understand the concepts by rereading notes and writing down details you haven't memorized and writing out JEs for each MCQs during practice mode. If you don't know how to do it, Google it. Practice a few SIMs to get the feel but I don't recommend spending weeks just on SIMs.

@magatha12 – I have Becker, Wiley and Ninja MCQ. I just decided to get the Ninja after my first fail of FAR. I feel like Ninja is more to the point on the questions. Becker questions are complicated and long to solve. I have only worked a few of Wiley. I am loving the Ninja Platform. I feel like it is a great setup to actually learning the material as you go.

I just got the Ninja MC too. Im also going over Becker questions, which are long and hard, so a combination of both test banks should help me pass this exam.

My plan is to do all the becker (not the optional questions-I am going to save these till the 1.5 weeks of review) and ninja mcq once through by 6.21.14 as well as reviewing the sims as I go. Take my first Final exam practice on 6.22.14. Then review the problem areas. and take the second final exam on 6.28. Then hopefully pull out a passing grade first week of July. I am treating this next 3.5 weeks as a review from my previous studies. As well as practicing more than anything. I will rewrite some of notes.

Have you guys ever considered trying Modafinil for your last week of cram? My brother used to go to Georgia Tech, and a great percentage of his friends used it. Students from other top universities use it as well to be able to compete. Im just sick of my 67 and then 71 FAR score, and I just need something to help me pass this beast. See the link below=

Just got through chapter 1 sims. Moving on to chapter 2 tonight. How's everyone's studying going? I am looking forward to seeing my score report tomorrow. I think it's probably comparable in m.c. and weaker in sims.

First topic to discuss about…. Temporary and Permanent Differences. I struggled with this on my exam day and still seem to not completely understand. I am slowly getting there though but the whole DTA/DTL is confusing. Any help in determining what is what and when to calculate??

    FAR - 46, 79 (7/8/14)
    AUD - 56, 59, 2/23/15 3rd times a charm!
    BEC - 69, 74 Really??
REG - April, I hope. Fingers crossed!
