Hey guys relatively new to this forum. Just graduated in New York plan on taking my firm test in August sometime.

I am just about finished watching all the videos for FAR in CpaExcel (took notes sporadically) and was wondering what you think my next study step should be?

I was thinking possibly trying to read through the text next? or should I start pounding MCQ and read the parts of the book that I do not understand fully?

    Thanks!

Don't repeat my early mistake – I tried to read the Wiley book for audit like it was any other book.

    Wrong answer.

MCQ all the way. Use your books as reference or read the sections that you're really weak or new on. Other than that, the answer explanations will teach you just as well as the book in most cases.

    GOOD LUCK!

    B: 77 (LC), 75
    A: 63,74,88
    R: 60,67,80
    F: 71,74,74 again, and 86 - DONE!

    Ethics and application - done.

Agreed. Tackle the MCQ and take additional notes from the explanations if you need to. Just understand why each answer is wrong/right.

I like reading and learn well that way for the most part, so reading the text has been helping me. But practicing the MCQs is crucial.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)
