Has anyone studied for Financial using Becker but studied the chapters out of order? I feel like people say to spend a good amount of time on governmental and NFP – but those are chapter 8 and 9. Has anyone studied those chapters first?

Or does it make more sense to go in order?

Regarding chapters 8 and 9, you could really just study them by themselves. I've studied chapters out of order, especially if one particular chapter is taking a long time to get through (like chapter 2 for example). I've noticed that sometimes a concept doesn't make sense until I go through a different chapter. They all eventually tie together.

In short, I wouldn't get hung up on any one chapter. If it takes you a while, go on to the next one and go back to it later. Often, by then, it will make more sense.

    Hope that helps.

    It does help, thanks!

With 10/15 deadline, I haven't been able to study much and I just don't want to get to the middle of Nov and still have big testing chapters left. Maybe this weekend I will just jump to 8-9.

Finding it so hard to stay motivated through this last test!

I had the same issue with motivation until I failed FAR. That woke me up. Don't let that happen to you. Keep focused. The end is near.

I haven't studied in order and in all reality I think has overall helped me, to be able to study the concepts in order of my comfort with them. The only ones I would study in order are 8 and 9. Mainly because you have to have to have the foundation of 8 to do the governmental part of 9.
