Hey guys,
So I had started studying for FAR at the beginning of March and have my exam scheduled for May 29. I started off pretty well, but by the time I got to chapter 3, my studying had started to suffer because of annoying busy season. I am “up to” chapter 7, but I am not happy with my studying of chapters 3, 5 and 6 of Becker. Including this window, I have four chances to pass before my first pass expires (reg). This FAR is the most scariest out of all of the exams. There is so much information that it makes the other tests look extremely easy, when in fact, they were not easy at all. How the hell do you remember all of this stuff? There are so many tricks to know when calculating problems, I just feel very overwhelmed. I’m doing pretty well on the theory questions, due to the notes I take for each chapter, but I am really struggling with the calculations, some of these questions are insane! How did you all study for this? Right now, I am so ready to be over this, but I need to keep pushing and land that sacred 75, I just don’t know how I can remember all of this stuff, maybe I’m feeling some burnout after tax season, but I need some advice on how to study for this, no way can you remember everything for this exam.
Sorry for venting, it’s just after starting this journey about 18 months ago, and although I am in good standing with FAR and having four cracks at it, I don’t take the time I have for granted and need to pass, I just feel so overwhelmed with information.
