    Hello all,

    Taking FAR on 5/29. Been preping with Wiley Test Bank exclusively. I usually do at least one 30 MC testlet per day and review all of the answers – done about 700 MC questions so far. I usually practice the sims in the last month or so I don’t feel off track with that yet.

    I’m a little concerned about my scores, I have a cumulative score of about 72% but I’ve had a bad run of socres over the past 10 days or so, feel like I’m dragging down my mean. Scoring in the 60s and low 70s.

    Is anyone else using Wiley Test Bank? What was your experience with your scores? I’ve used it for my other tests but generally found my scores started to improve with about a month to go. I ended up averaging b/t a 75% and 80% on my cumulative Wiley Test Bank efforts for my prior exams.

    Just starting to get a little concerned with a month before the exam . . .

    I would be interested in answers to this also. FAR is my last exam and is scheduled for 5/28. For all other sections I passed, I used Becker and was scoring in the 70s. I'm finally including Wiley MCQs this time…do you find that they're harder/easier than Becker?

    I am using Becker and Wiley for the first time on Far. I think Wiley gives a nice change of pace over Becker. Becker progress tests I've been averaging between 95%-99% and on Wiley I am averaging around 90%. I don't know how this relates to my last tests, as I have yet to receive my REG score but I would say that Wiley's questions aren't any harder, some are just worded differently. I think integrating them both into your study plans helps keep you on your toes.

    bcjasper – when you do the Wiley tests, do you combo MC with Sims? How many MCs do you usualy do? Do you just do as many as possible or do you try and simulate the exam?

    I just did my morning practice testlet – 30 MCs. 73% – wah, wah, wah, waaahhhhhh.

    That's one thing I don't like about Wiley- they don't show you the answer right away, but instead make you take a whole test. I think I learn better when I can review the answer immediately. 🙁

    @memmy29

    I'm pretty sure there is a setting in Wiley where you are told right away what the right answer is. I thougt it was the default but it is the little exclamtion point (!) in the upper right hand corner when you are in practice mode.

    I usually turn it off and try and do an entire 30 MC testlet in 45 min in an attempt to simulate exam conditions.

    I was scoring with Becker around 70-80% on the MCQs (did them all including the supplementary) and I am almost done with all of the Wiley MCQs (I do 50 MCQ assessments 2x a day). I score between 82-88% on those practice runs (I will admit that maybe on 4-5 MCQs I check the notes to see if I am thinking about the question incorrectly). Sometimes I wonder if I am better off doing the MCQ assessments in multiples of 30 to simulate the exam and really get a feel for my average but it is what it is 🙂 Very glad I purchased the Wiley test bank for sure – I prefer the detailed answers and links to the book material.

    @raymondsfamily, if you are scoring in the mid 80s on the MC you are going to blow the exam away unless you really trip up. I found I scored about 10 pts higher on the exam than on the test bank.
