So, I was hoping to get some feedback about a situation that I’m in. I recently attempted the FAR examination on August 28th, but there were some unforeseen issues with the testing center. Apparently someone decided it would be a good idea to do construction in the room next door making it incredibly difficult to focus (I have a pretty high tolerance for noise, but this was unbearable). Fortunately I have until August 2015 to finish FAR and AUD, but the soonest I was able to get back in to take my test is October 23rd.
I would say that I feel pretty comfortable with the information (I failed once with a 74 having not spent too much time studying), but I will obviously need to refresh my brain throughout the next two months. My intention was to use September/October to study for AUD and attempt it Q4. My question is this: Would anyone in my position try to study the new material while trying to maintain a firm grasp of the FAR material? Or should I just wait until after I take the test again to start the new material?
As I said before, although it is an inconvenience, I am extremely lucky this didn’t happen towards the expiration of my first two examinations. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you in advance!
