Hello A71 fam,

All the information in my brain is about to explode. My brain is so messed up! It seems like i forgot everything even the depreciation method :-/ like really!!!!!

If you were me , what areas would you have revised in last couple of hours??

That is, by far, the worst thing about the CPA exam to me. It doesn't matter how much I study, nothing ever feels like it's instantly recallable. My brain feels like soup with little fragments of information floating around. I can get most things right when prompted with the wording of a question, but I don't truly KNOW anything.

I would advice you to rest. That's what I felt when I took the exam. I usually remember the test after taking it, but for FAR, because of exhaustion, only a few question were retained. That's how exhausted my brain was after the exam.

I wouldnt worry about possibly forgetting something. For FAR, there are like an inifinite amt of little details and facts. Its impossible to study them all. Remember 80% of everything you study don't even show up on the exam. So rest up. Sleep early. I am always amazed at how well I remember things the morning after opposed to the night before. I have BEC tomorrow afternoon. I spent 2 hours reviewing my note this morning. Imma do a quick 100MCs and then rest. I'm sure you'll pass, dont sweat it!

I am right there with ya…all i am doing now is blowing out MCQ's.

At this point i feel like the more i see the better i am picking out “the call of the question” or is it that i have just memorized the answers…not sure!

Just had to comment on Meatball's statement. I was trying to describe that feeling earlier today to a coworker: I can get most things right when prompted with the wording of a question, but I don't truly KNOW anything.

You said it perfectly. I think it is so spot on and that is why practicing MCQ is so important. It trained my brain for the prompt:response needed.

Good luck! I'm in the same boat as well. I re-did Becker questions last week, and I was totally blanking on the effective interest method, of all things.Thankfully I've got it back, but it sure feels like there's so much I haven't worked on! For now I'm just focusing on topics I found difficult, making sure to remember any topics that keep showing up on the exam (bank rec's and the remeasurement/translation methods are a big one for me), and giving myself reminders about how the exam could go tomorrow (from how I get there to how the questions and simulations might look like).
