I think this will apply for those who use Becker Self-study but I guess you can improvise with other study material as well.

So I’ve gone through most of MCQ’s and re-worked on questions i missed. When I do progress tests for each chapters or a couple of chapters combined, I write down question ID numbers for the ones I’ve gotten wrong.

Becker has Question ID number on the left hand corner of screen looks like CPA-12123.

I write them down on a Note Card or two as I go over and do multiple progress tests throughout the entire period of study.

On Becker software / or online menu, there is an option tool where you can type in specific question number and bring up individual questions.

Use it to re-do and review the ones on the note card.

I check off the questions as I go through, and leave the ones I got wrong again.

This gives me kind of an idea of my weakness area and which chapter/area I need to review or read.

Then, I come back / work on them again.

I’ve noticed that I kind of expect/ or easier for me to figure out what the questions is asking if I KNOW which chapter of questions I am on. So randomness on picking questions off of the note card I made works better.

For the first time exam takers,

you should not expect the questions on the actual exam will look exactly same as what you did on your review course. So you shouldn’t waste your time just memorizing the right answers but use this final review tip to remind your self of the contents of the material and make sure you understand the concepts.
