Fire disrupting testing at Prometric

I took REG at the end of May. About halfway through the manager of the Prometric came in the room and told us there was a fire next door. We had to leave the room and tests were paused. Sure enough, as we walked outside, fire trucks were pulling up and the roof above the building next door was ablaze. About an hour later we were all allowed back into the building and the test was resumed.

I feel pretty good about the exam, but given the relatively significant disruption, has anyone heard of being allowed a retake or refund of fees in the event that of a failed exam?

Yes, I've heard of someone being allowed a retake, I'd email NASBA now so they can begin the process of getting it documented and confirmed. If you pass no harm no foul but if not at least you've already made progress.

What a pain but hope nobody was hurt.

Thank you for the quick reply, I will definitely get an email out to NASBA. Do you know if the retake would then count under the April / May testing window, or would it just be a “free retake” under the July / August window?

Well considering this window closes in 7 days I doubt the wheels of progress will move that fast (besides you want to see your score first, if you passed this topic is moot.)

Best case scenario is a freebie in the next window, if NASBA does allow it.

I think you have only 5 days to contact NASBA regarding an issue. Not sure exactly how long it's been! They usually respond within 24 hours.
