How the heck did you retain all of that material long enough to sit there on exam day and pass?

Rocky123 I plan on taking millions (zero exaggeration) of progress tests to keep all the material fresh. I do small progress tests, only 30 questions each. I do roughly 2-3 of those each night in addition to my study plan. The last 2 weeks during the final review it's all progress tests and Ninja MCQs. Eventually it will all stick!

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!
Still on a cloud and in shock. Through God, all things will happen.

You have to go into it knowing that you're not going to remember ALL of it, which takes a lot of the pressure off, or you'll never feel ready. And then you just work on remembering as much of it as you can, and BSing the little remainder on test day as needed.

    Hang in there!

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

As Peter Olinto said (I think it was him), there is an inverse relationship between happiness and passing this exam. The unhappier you are, the greater your chances are of passing.

If I keep this up, I should be batting 100!! Ha ha.

I don't know about that happiness relationship– I feel like if you hate the material, you subconsciously resist it and can't learn it as well because of that, so you really have to embrace the material, making it easier to soak it all in.

I think he meant unhappy because you are basically putting your life on hold for this exam.

I don't know of anyone who truly LOVES this material.

The last few days studying before the test is critical maybe.

I had to cram in F8-F10 and review the chapters before that in a week.

I basically skimmed the text, focusing only on the highlights (in retrospect, I appreciate Gearty's approach a lot more now). When I land on a topic that I just know is alien or confusing, I put a little post it on that page and then took a reasonable amount of time to understand that material and take notes on it to review later. Then move on.

After I skimmed through the entire text book, I reviewed the trouble spots again, and then I only had enough time to do the practice problems at the end of the chapter.
